Kings Weir Fishery coarse fishery on the River Lea, is renowned for its specimen sized Barbel, Chub and Bream. The fish community also includes populations of Dace, Roach, Pike, European Eel and Gudgeon, and anglers are drawn nationally and internationally to fish the historic venue. You can either fish the weir pool or a stretch located downstream, named “The Members Section”. The fishery also includes Stillwater fishing on the adjacent Holyfield Lake where you can catch specimen sized Tench, Carp, Bream and

Pike.

The following information is for everyone's benefit,particularly the Fisheries fauna and flora and especially your quarry fish!

The Team work very hard thoughout the close season maintaing the Fishery to the high standard that it is today.

PLEASE HELP MAINTAIN THESES STANDARDS BY FOLLOWING THE FISHERY RULES.

> NO FISHING OR WALKING AROUND MEMBERS SIDE OF LAKE.




>TAKE ALL LITTER HOME DO NOT USE OUR BINS

 

>CANS/TINS NOT PERMITTED ON FISHERY

 

> LANDING NETS TO BE USED AT ALL TIMES 30 INCH

Members not reporting will not be renewing  membership. These help us monitor growths ,locations and fish stock levels.
